Advanced Technology

Robotic-assisted surgery is a type of surgical procedure that is done using a robotic system.

It was developed to overcome the limitations of pre-existing minimally invasive surgical procedures and to enhance the capabilities of surgeons performing open surgery.

While every case is different, Robotic surgeries are known for reducing down time after surgery.

To perform a procedure with a robot in the operating room, the medical doctor needs to be trained

Video-assisted surgery (VATS) is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to diagnose and treat problems in your chest.  Using a tiny camera through small incisions the camera transmits images onto a video monitor. This empowers the provider with images that help the doctor during the procedure.
