Meeting and exceeding your expectations.
Notice a medical change in your loved one? Something just doesn't feel right?
MERT is a Medical Emergency Response Team and patient emergency hotline that patients and families can call from any hospital phone when there is a change in the patient’s condition and the patient or family is unable to get the attention of a health care provider. When hospital operators receive a MERT call, a rapid response team is immediately alerted to address the patient concern.
To activate a MERT, dial 7777 from any hospital phone

The iPET (Interactive Patient Engagement Technology) system transforms the television in your patient room into a fully interactive resource. It provides entertainment and is a patient education tool that improves communication between patients, nursing, and other departments throughout the hospital.
Hospital visits can be daunting - for patients or visitors. As southern Nevada's only not-for-profit, faith-based hospital system, we want all Rose de Lima, San Martín and Siena visitors to feel welcome and comfortable. However, we do ask that patients not bring items of value, such as cash, jewelry and electronics, to the hospital. These items should be left at home or secured with a family member. Please note that St. Rose Dominican hospitals are not responsible for replacing lost or misplaced items.
Our goal is to provide the best possible care during your hospital stay. Meeting and exceeding your expectations for quality care and service is very important to us, so please ask us if you or your family need anything during your stay. We are here for you.
