Slow Down Dementia with CST - New classes start soon (August 24, 2022)
Dignity Health Wellness Centers are offering a new program that can help slow the progression of dementia using a multi-sensory approach that incorporates conversation, socialization, and physical activity. Cognitive Stimulation Therapy or CST is an evidence-based group intervention for individuals with mild to moderate dementia. Research shows that CST leads to significant benefits in people's cognitive functioning and social relationships. Studies also suggest CST can be equally as effective as dementia medications at slowing the progression of the disease. Learn more here.
