Kathleen Chesney, RN

Kathleen Chesney, RN

Kathleen Chesney, began her healthcare career as an RN and loved caring for patients. I moved to Redding in 2000 and continued working in cardiac care, then in the cardiovascular intensive care unit recovering open heart patients. I returned to school at Simpson and graduated with my Bachelors Degree in 2005, the first year they became a University. I continued nursing as I went to the University of California Davis and completed the Physician Assistant Program.

I wanted to have more impact on my patient's lives and I wanted to show them that quality healthcare can be delivered compassionately. I want patients to be able to feel genuine warmth and trust when they come to see me, as I feel it makes us work better as a team. Our team here is exceptional and I look forward to meeting my new patients and helping them to live their best lives.
