Laura Dipaolo, MD

Dr. DiPaolo was born and raised in Redding. She received her undergraduate degree in Human Development from UC Davis. After graduating she worked as a research assistant at Stanford University studying Alzheimer’s and sleep in aging. She then attended medical school in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Dr. DiPaolo completed her internship at Florida Hospital in Orlando and then returned to Redding for her Family Medicine Residency at Mercy where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency graduation Dr. DiPaolo worked in group practice at Palo Alto Medical Foundation in the Bay Area and then took a Faculty position at UC San Diego teaching family medicine residents and medical students. She has also worked in a Federally Qualified Health Center in Redding helping meet the needs of underserved patient’s in Shasta County. She is excited to now be working with the residents at the program where she trained! In her free time Dr. DiPaolo enjoys spending time with her husband and two children at the lake, sporting events, the theater, hiking, gardening and traveling.
