New Specialist in Vascular Neurology and Neurointerventional Surgery Joins Dignity Health North State

For those suffering from cerebrovascular diseases like stroke and brain aneurysms, there is new advanced local care at Dignity Health Medical Group North State and Mercy Medical Center Redding.

That’s because Dr. Erek Helseth has joined the staff at the North State Medical Group. Dr. Helseth was most recently at San Antonio Military Medical Center. He has also served as Chief of Neurology and Theater Neurology Consultant for the Armed Forces in Afghanistan. A Board Certified Diplomate in Vascular Neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, he is an expert on stroke, brain aneurysms, and other blood vessel disorders of the brain and spine.
