In my own wordsCare Philosophy: I like the idea of knowing who my patients are as well as what their joint, tendon, or ligament problem is. I believe this allows me to treat the whole person, not just with surgery but with compassion. It can help them to return to health faster because I listen to them.
Special Clinical Interests: I am interested in biologics, especially in the repairs of tendons and ligaments, because I think it may actually give people more mobility than with other repairs. I’m also interested in chondroplasty to help with knee surgeries, and bioinductive surgeries for rotator cuff repairs.
Why I Became a Medical Provider: When I was three years old, I announced to my parents that I was going to be a doctor, a truck driver, or a queen. After I tore my meniscus in medical school, I had the opportunity to watch my orthopedic surgeon as he repaired ACLs and did total joint replacement surgeries. That’s when I fell in love with the idea of being an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr Dunbar was amazing. She was understanding and real. I wish all doctors were as wonderful as she is.

Where is my option for excellent ? This visit was more than " very good ". I was on crutches entering this office and was able to walk out after having my knee drained. Pain was gone when I left.
