Dr. Oakes oversees our entire residency programs and previously held the position of Director for our Emergency Medicine Residency Program. She became a part of the Sponsoring Institution team in 2017 during the inception of the residency programs, assuming the role of the inaugural Emergency Medicine Program Director. Since 2021, Dr. Oakes has taken on the responsibilities of the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) for both St. Joseph’s Medical Center & Mercy San Juan Medical Center.
Dr. Oakes is dedicated to prioritizing the training and cultivation of proficient, versatile clinicians, demonstrating exceptional commitment, foresight, and leadership.
