Find the right Medicare Advantage plan for you

Compare Medical Advantage plans

If you are, or will soon be, eligible for Medicare, you will have decisions coming up about your health insurance and it’s important to understand what your options are.

What is a Medicare plan?

Original Medicare provides coverage for things like inpatient hospital stays (Part A) and doctors office visits and outpatient care (Part B), but it can leave you with higher out-of-pocket costs such as copayments, coinsurance and deductibles and it does not cover prescription drugs (Part D).

A Medicare Advantage plan (also known as Medicare Part C) is a plan offered by a private company that contracts with Medicare to provide all your Original Medicare Parts A (hospital coverage) and B (medical coverage) benefits, as well as any additional coverage available through that plan, such as:

  • Part D prescription drug coverage
  • Vision and dental care
  • Hearing benefits, including hearing aids
  • Fitness classes

Dignity Health has partnered with eHealth, an independent insurance agency, to help you compare your Medicare Advantage plan options.

There is no cost to you to review your options, and there is no obligation to enroll. Other than zip code, ZERO personal information is required. All plans shown will have Dignity Health doctors in their network.

Financial Benefits of Medicare Advantage

Research shows that Medicare Advantage beneficiaries spend less than Original Medicare beneficiaries.*

  • Medicare Advantage beneficiaries report $1,965 less in total annual health spending (out-of-pocket costs and premiums).
  • When considering rates of cost burden, defined as spending 20% or more of one’s income on health coverage, Medicare Advantage has a 35% lower rate of cost burden.
