Glendale Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Fitness Center received full certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) for our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. This certification is the only peer-reviewed accreditation process designed to review individual facilities for adherence to standards and guidelines developed and published by the AACVPR and other professional societies.
Breast Imaging Center of Excellence
The Marcia Ray Breast Center received the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE) designation by the American College of Radiology (ACR), which distinguishes our facility for achieving optimal outcomes. The BICOE designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program. The Center is also recognized as an “Outstanding Community Partner” by the San Fernando Valley Unit of the American Cancer Society.
