Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Welcomes New President & CEO

Jill Welton has been named president and chief executive officer of Dignity Health - Glendale Memorial Hospital. She will lead the overall direction, strategy and operation of the hospital.

Welton has been with Dignity Health for the past six years, most recently serving as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer/Chief Nursing Officer at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco.

With more than 20 years in health care, Welton is a proven leader that has demonstrated success in initiating culture change through organizational turnaround with a focus on safety, quality and strategic initiatives.

Welton earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Holy Names University in Oakland, California and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Hayward.
