Glendale Memorial Hospital is pleased to offer patients WATCHMAN™, a one-time, minimally-invasive procedure for those with non-valvular AFib who need an alternative to taking blood thinners. The procedure allows the placement of the WATCHMAN device (implant) into a patient’s heart to permanently reduce the risk from blood clots forming in the heart which could lead to a stroke.
