Cardiac Catheterization Labs
The Heart Center at Glendale Memorial Hospital has three state of the art interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization laboratories for angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placement.
Cardiac catheterization is a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure that allows doctors to study the heart and surrounding blood vessels. One or more thin, flexible tubes are inserted through a blood vessel in the arm or leg to record blood flow, calculate cardiac output, and evaluate the heart's electrical activity.
Our Cath Labs are equipped with advanced monitoring systems designed to support one of the most progressive diagnostic and interventional programs in the area. Our specially trained nurses and technicians work closely with doctors to provide a safe, successful procedure.
Diagnostic services include:
Ablations
Abnormal Cardiac Rhythm
Carotid Angiogram and Stenting
