Inpatient Services
The Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at Glendale Memorial offers a positive, healing environment where our patients can socialize with other patients who have the same recovery challenges. Our staff, committed to your care and recovery, provides personalized, focused attention.
Our service model includes a 14 bed acute rehabilitation unit with an interdisciplinary team focused on developing an individualized plan for your recovery. Our physical, occupational and speech therapies are offered three hours a day, five days a week in order to ease the transition home. Therapy rooms include a kitchen, dining room and a well-equipped rehab gym to enhance progress and regain function.
Your social and emotional recovery is woven with your physical recovery. Therefore, we focus on the whole person, which can include family involvement in treatment and care planning.
We treat injuries and illnesses including but not limited to: stroke, head and spinal cord injuries, hip fractures and amputations. We also work with patients experiencing neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions and burns.
Our on-site rehabilitation Medical Director is here to coordinate and manage the efforts of the interdisciplinary team ensuring the highest quality care.
