Northridge Hospital’s classes and support groups feature experts who educate the community on how to maintain optimal health and prevent injuries and illnesses. Topics include cancer, heart, diabetes, women’s health, children’s health, prenatal care and nutrition.
All classes and support groups are free. Registration is required by calling the number provided. All classes take place at Northridge Hospital Medical Center (18300 Roscoe Blvd., Northridge, CA 91328) unless noted.
Orthopedic Wellness Program
At Northridge Hospital, our multidisciplinary team is here to help you get back to the life you love. Our program is designed to give you the important information you need to achieve the best outcome from your joint replacement surgery.
Prevention Forward Healthy Lifestyles Program
Prevention Forward is a free program of Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital’s Center for Healthier Communities to put prevention first and help you learn how to better take care of yourself. We invite you to participate if you are 19-85 years old and have any of the following conditions: pre-diabetes, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure or stroke.
You will learn how to manage your condition, improve outcomes, and prevent setbacks in your recovery. Joining Prevention Forward will be one of the best things you can do for yourself this year.

- Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program
- National Diabetes Prevention Program

Programa Prevention Forward Estilos de Vida Saludables
Prevention Forward es un programa gratuito de Dignity Health - Center for Healthier Communities del Hospital Northridge que se enfoca en priorizar la prevención y en aprender cómo cuidarse mejor. Ie invitamos a participar si tienes entre 19 y 85 años y tienes alguna de las siguientes condiciones: prediabetes, diabetes, enfermedad cardiovascular, presión arterial alta o derrame cerebral.

Safe Dates
A free program, offered by Northridge Hospital's Center for Healthier Communities, helps teens create healthy relationships.
Program will:
- Raise students' awareness of what constitutes healthy and abusive dating relationships
- Equip students with the skills and resources to help themselves or friends in abusive dating relationships
- Emphasize positive communication, anger management, and conflict resolution
- Provide the chance to win weekly prize drawings valued at $15 and higher
- Allow kids to partake in fun activities such as a student play, poster board contest and much more!
