Northridge Hospital Medical Center provides an excellent therapeutic experience where patients feel comfortable and supported. We offer a safe environment for adolescents, adults and seniors to heal and learn healthy behaviors.
Under the supervision of a board-certified Psychiatrist, our team of experts combines the latest medical information with the best of traditional medicine and compassion to care for individuals suffering from mental illness and emotional problems. As a short term care facility, our focus is on crisis stabilization and to provide patients with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in recovery.
The positive outcomes achieved at the Behavioral Health Center are maximized by the inclusion of the patient and family as part of the treatment team.
Our program offers crisis stabilization and symptom management in a safe, structured environment for patients.
Our Inpatient Behavioral Health Program is for patients who are unable to function due to psychiatric difficulties. Our program provides intensive therapy, support, structure, and stability in a safe and therapeutic environment.
Clients attend groups with a variety of platforms to meet their therapeutic needs such as cognitive behavioral therapy education groups, recreational therapy, art therapy and process groups. Our program members will also meet with the program psychiatrist weekly to address any concerns that may require the support of a physician.
This program provides all the same therapeutic benefits/groups as PHP while allowing clients more free time during the week. Clients can be admitted directly into the IOP program or IOP may be utilized as a “step down” from more intensive programs such as PHP, inpatient or Residential Treatment. The slow “step down” process helps to provide support while clients prepare to return to the traditional outpatient therapy or psychiatrist appointments.
We assess and treat adult and senior patients with a variety of issues, including:
We offer highly specialized services for teens to help them and their families manage a serious behavioral, emotional or psychiatric crisis.
