Spiritual Care Services
As a service to patients and their families, Community Hospital of San Bernardino provides spiritual support for all faiths and spiritual traditions.
Our mission at Community Hospital of San Bernardino is to complete your physical care with the spiritual care you desire. Our interfaith chaplains are available to assist you in counsel and prayer.
Reasons for requesting a chaplain may include the need for spiritual counsel, someone to listen to you, prayer, sacraments, spiritual resources, or connecting you to someone from your specific faith tradition, should you desire. The Community Hospital of San Bernardino Chapel is available 24 hours a day for all visitors and guests and serves as a quiet space for prayer, meditation, and reflection.
Upon admission into the hospital, please let us know if you would like spiritual support or if you would like a visit from a hospital Chaplain.
Patients within the hospital, who would like to speak with a Catholic Priest, may call ext. 1415. To speak with an Interdenominational Chaplain, dial ext. 1236, or ask the nurse or care manager for assistance.
