If you need surgical relief from joint or spine pain, our specialists treat new cases and offer revision procedures for a range of orthopedic needs, including hip, shoulder, knee, leg, elbow, forearm, back, spine, hand, wrist, ankle, and foot.
If you need cancerous tissue to be surgically removed, our fellowship-trained surgeons use minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries to treat cancerous tissues in the abdomen, breasts, colon, skin and pancreas, as well as oncoplastics.
If you need help with pain or health issues related to your pelvic area, our specialists deliver minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries to treat bladder, kidney and urinary care, incontinence, pelvic floor, reproductive health, prostate care, hernia repair, and more.
Some of our surgeries are performed using the da Vinci xi robot as an assistant to the surgeon. Others are performed using other minimally invasive procedures. In all cases, patient outcome and speed to recovery are prioritized.
The da Vinci Surgical System® is a sophisticated robotic platform designed to expand your surgeon’s capabilities and offer a minimally invasive option for major surgery. It is used to treat complex conditions ranging from cancer to uterine prolapse to nerve-sparing prostatectomies. The majority of women’s gynecological surgeries can be performed using da Vinci, as can most urological cases, many gastroenterology and general surgeries, and some procedures.
If your surgeon schedules inpatient surgery, this means you will be recovering in the hospital overnight or for several nights following your procedure. Prior to your inpatient surgery, our surgery admission nurse will call you to obtain your medical history and provide additional information to help you prepare.
Outpatient surgery, or same day surgery, does not require an overnight hospital stay. Whether an operation can be done as outpatient surgery depends on the potential for complications before and after surgery. Your doctor or surgeon will also take into account your age, medical history and overall health.
