Directions to St. Bernardine

Free valet service for patients and visitors is offered at the main hospital entrance on E. 21st Street, one block South of the Waterman and Highland intersection.

The emergency department entrance is located one block south of Highland on E. 21st Street. 

Parking

Daytime Arrival – The gates to the campus, located on 21st Street and on Highland Avenue open at 5:00 am and close at 8:00 pm. Direct access to the parking structure is through the 21st Street gate.

Nighttime Arrival – Between 8:00 pm and 6:30 am, you will need to use the parking lot outside the Emergency Department. You will enter the lot through the Emergency Department entrance on 21st Street.

From Los Angeles and Ontario: Take the 10 Freeway east, transition to the 215 Freeway north, transition to the 210 Freeway/Mountain Resorts, exit Waterman Avenue, turn right on Waterman Avenue. For outpatient services and medical office building, turn left on Highland Avenue. For emergency and all other hospital services turn left on 21st Street.

From Palm Springs or Redlands: Take the 10 Freeway west, transition to the 210 Freeway, exit Waterman Avenue, turn left on 30th Street, turn left on Waterman Avenue. For outpatient services and medical office buildings, turn left on Highland Avenue. For emergency and all other hospital services, turn left on 21st Street

From the High Desert: Take the 15 Freeway south, transition to the 215 Freeway south, transition to the 210 Freeway, exit Waterman Avenue, turn right on Waterman Avenue. For outpatient services and medical office buildings turn left on Highland Avenue. For emergency and all other hospital services turn left on 21st Street

From the San Bernardino mountain communities: Take the 18 Freeway west, transition to the 330 Freeway, transition to the 210 Freeway/San Bernardino, exit Waterman Avenue, turn left on 30th Street, turn left on Waterman Avenue. For outpatient services and medical office buildings turn left on Highland Avenue. For emergency and all other hospital services turn left on 21st Street.

From Riverside or Orange County: Take the 91 Freeway north, transition to the 215 Freeway north, transition to the 210 Freeway/Mountain Resorts, exit Waterman Avenue, turn right on Waterman Avenue. For outpatient services and medical office buildings turn left on Highland Avenue. For emergency and all other hospital services turn left on 21st Street.
