Our hospitals have implemented a health screening process, including temperature reading, for all patients, visitors, employees, physicians, and vendors entering through main lobbies or emergency departments. The care and safety of our patients, visitors, staff, and community is our top priority. In keeping with that commitment, and in light of government recommendations and the number of infectious diseases in our community—we have temporarily introduced the following visitation restrictions, effective immediately.
- Access into the hospitals will be limited to designated entrance points.
- Visitation is limited to specific departments only.
- All allowable visitors will need to check-in and complete a brief health screening.
- Visitors who have had contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient or have recently traveled to any region the CDC has deemed high-risk, or person(s) who do not pass the screening, will not be permitted into the hospital for visitation purposes.
- Visitors under 18 years of age are not allowed to visit at this time.
- The exception to overnight visitors will be limited to our maternity area, where a mother’s significant other may stay to help care for a new baby.
Additional restrictions are in place at your specific hospital of choice. Please visit the hospital’s page for detailed information.
